Hello
Fall lightly, snow
Infinite many-fingered hands
Waving hello as they approach our world
Friendly and unabashed
They approach without haste
But also without waste
Of time.
Savor all the seconds they fall.
They leave you wet tiny kisses in goodbye,
Soft as a sleeping childs sigh
On the roses of eyelids and noses and cheeks
Smaller than any part of us
But never at all meek.
As slow as they had come
Is as fast as they slip away
But consider considering them
Just a bit more
How their whole life had been spent
In effort to seep through your pores
Just to smile at your very cold core.

everything burns if the flame is hot enough
the world is nothing but a crucible
